Sevenoaks Permeable Paving Driveway

We recently completed this permeable paving driveway project in Sevenoaks, carrying out the complete transformation from initial excavation and ground preparation through to the new driveway, brick wall and soakaway drainage system.

Excavation & Ground Preparation

The project began with the excavation of the existing area and removal of unwanted materials. We excavated to the required depth before preparing the ground and installing the appropriate sub-base to provide a strong, stable and free-draining foundation for the new driveway.

Correct preparation is essential for a long-lasting permeable driveway, helping to provide both structural strength and effective drainage.

Permeable Block Paving

We installed a new permeable block paving driveway, creating an attractive and practical entrance to the property.

Unlike conventional paving, permeable paving allows rainwater to drain through the surface and into the specially prepared layers beneath. This helps reduce surface-water build-up while providing a smart, durable driveway suitable for everyday vehicle use.

New Soakaway & Drainage

As part of the project, we also installed a soakaway drainage system to help manage rainwater effectively within the property.

The soakaway works alongside the permeable driveway construction to provide an effective solution for surface-water drainage and minimise pooling during periods of heavy rainfall.

New Brick Wall

To complete the transformation, we constructed a new brick wall alongside the driveway.

The new brickwork provides a smart and durable boundary while complementing the paving and the character of the property. Careful attention was given to the brickwork and finishing details to ensure the driveway and wall worked together as one complete installation.
